Beth’s Story

My path towards healing

My struggle early in life

I grew up in a dysfunctional broken family. As a young girl, I had lost both of my parents by the age of five. I was forced to live with many different people before I graduated high school. Many of the adults I lived with did not have the skills to parent me. As a result, I grew into adulthood lacking basic life skills and I quickly became self-destructive. For many years I continued in a downward spiral and adopted a number of unhealthy habits and behaviors to help me cope. I was involved in abusive relationships, drugs, alcohol, and had poor eating habits. I eventually became exhausted after years of maintaining my destructive habits and decided I wanted to change.

Finding my desire for change

Being in and out of traditional therapy my entire life, I became a pretty savvy therapeutic client. I bounced from therapist to therapist, never really finding “the right one.” The fact is I was never really ready to do the work necessary to change my life. As I matured, I eventually reached a place where I was ready and willing to do what it takes to heal. I realized I needed to try something different from traditional therapy, I wanted to go deeper, I wanted to heal on a spiritual and soul level. As a person, I was finally ready to heal and spent years studying with Dr. Isa Gucciardi.

My own healing lead to a new career

I have always had an interest and a love for people, their emotions, and their stories. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Psychology. I later began studying under Dr. Isa Gucciardi, the founder of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream. I worked for over ten years as a Spiritual Empowerment Coach. I am a certified Hypnotherapist through the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy.

I have expert training in Shamanism, Energy Medicine, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Buddhism, and Transpersonal Psychology. I have a daily meditation and Shamanic journey practice and I continue to work with my teacher and mentor on a regular basis. I stay connected to myself, my process, and my own healing, so that I can be as empowered and centered as possible to show up for my family, myself, and my clients. I believe in this work deeply and whole-heartedly; I truly believe that everyone is capable of healing and living a life of joy and peace, no matter the past, no matter the wounding. I am dedicated and passionate about helping others. I would be honored to support you too.

“Explaining the power and magic of working with Beth for the uninitiated is a tall order because working with Beth is an amazing, must-be-experienced combination of therapy, energy work, guided meditation and more.

My experience with Beth started a few years ago when I wanted to work on a very specific addiction around food. And now, many years later, I seek her counsel on a monthly basis ( traveling from the Peninsula) to see her and go through the unique process of depth hypnosis. She is a loving energy that approaches the therapy component from a place of support and insight; she is an empathetic ear and a cheerleader. When she holds up the mirror to one’s truths, it is done with a kindness and a knowingness that we come to a session looking to learn about ourselves.

With energy healing, she assists in dissipating any negativity that we bring with our stuff. As a busy executive in tech, my sessions with Beth are a way to regroup, reflect and regenerate. Stuff can get deep, but it never gets heavy- Beth shares the burden with you and her energy healing helps you tap into your higher self. I’m eager for others to get to experience what I have over these past years; Beth is the guide you want by your side through life’s triumphs and travails. ”
