Laughter Is the Best Medicine

Laughing, Medicine

Laughter can be strong medicine that draws people together and triggers healthy physical and emotional changes in the body and provides healing to your aura.

The power of frequent laughter can be a tremendous resource for problems that seem to be growing and piling up. Laughter offers the ability to enhance and heal your relationships as well as your spirit while supporting your health both physically and emotionally. The best part about it is that it is free medicine for the mind, body, and soul that you can take advantage of at any time you want!

As we grow older, the times for laughter tend to grow fewer and far between. Our sense of humor becomes very serious, and we tend not to be able to capture joy at the moment and laugh when something makes us feel amused. When you have the ability to step back and really seek out the things that genuinely make you happy and make you laugh, you can be adding more to your emotional and physical health with every fit of laughter! Laughing loud and often brings more benefits to your emotional health, strengthens your relationships, and heightens your desire for true happiness!

How does laughing help my health?

Laughing brings on quite a few benefits that you can take advantage of. A deep, hearty laugh can relieve tension and stress that you have built up, laughing offers some muscle relief of up to up to 45 minutes of muscle relaxation after a good laugh. A nice laugh also helps boost the productivity of your immune system.

Laughing has emotional health benefits as well. Laughing has a way of working with your distressing emotions and root chakra to help curb some of their effects. When you start to laugh, you cannot feel anxious, angry, sad, or your fight-or-flight emotions while you are laughing. Laughter can help you reduce stress and increase your energy levels to help you bring more positivity to your spirit and allow it to realign itself with your Solar Plexus Chakra and maintain a positive stance much longer than normal.

Laughter helps us live longer. All of the health benefits that it offers to us allow us to be healthier and gives us a chance at leading a healthier life. If you can take advantage of the numerous benefits that laughing has, you can set yourself on the right path to a long, happy, and healthy life.

What is my Solar Plexus Chakra?

Laughing offers a tremendous benefit to the Solar Plexus Chakra. This chakra is the energetic center within your body that focuses on your personal power, willpower, and self-worth. The Solar Plexus Chakra can become blocked when you are stressed and overwhelmed. Allowing yourself to let go and laugh hard helps unblock this chakra as this chakra is where laughter comes from.

Laughter not only helps unblock the Solar Plexus, but it also allows us to connect with other spirits around us. Laughter allows spirits around us to join together and heal. You allow your spirit to connect with others in a positive light when you allow yourself to laugh without control.

Laughing also acts as an instant mood boost and works to be a great way of strengthening your aura. If you can allow yourself to be playful and allows our inner child to have a good time, your aura will thank you for it later. Laughing in the midst of a crisis helps keep your soul and your aura from getting overwhelmed and becoming strained.

How can I laugh more?

The first thing that you should do is simply remember to smile. Keep a smile on your face throughout the day to help yourself start to feel more positive. Smiling is where laughter begins and can be contagious. Make sure that you appreciate everything that you have and keep in touch with your spirit. You can even make a list if you need to! If you keep your soul grounded and try to reflect on all of the good things in your life, smiling and laughing are not too far off.

You can gravitate towards laughter. When you are out and about in different social settings, if you hear laughter, go to it! If you can interject yourself into a group that is always laughing, you can join in on the fun. One of the best things we can do for ourselves as adults are to remember what it is like to be a kid again.

Block out some time and immerse yourself in all of the nostalgia that you can get your hands on. Remember that the child inside of you is still there but needs to be let out once in a while to keep your sense of humor happy and healthy.
