My husband lied to me for years… and it cost him his health.
For years, Peter did not feel well, however he did not tell people how he was truly feeling.
I knew something was wrong! I knew… but I did not know how to ask him about it without sounding SO scared or yelling at him.
Our lack of communication led to him bleeding one day out of places one should not bleed.
Yes it was cancer.
What was the issue, why were we not talking honestly about his health?
We did not know HOW!
We let our programming from our past hold us back from communicating honestly.
The story does end on a positive note, as he is still with us… however it was a VERY long recovery process.
