What is the Power of Intention?
The power of intention is the power of a focused mind.
Have you ever wanted something more than anything? So badly you were willing to go to the ends of the earth to make it happen or get it the thing you wanted? I know that I have. That is the power of intention working its way into your thought process.
When times begin to seem bleak and are going downhill, the power of intention can be a force that brings you through to the other side. Intention is described as something that is intended. When you have a plan or a goal that you want to accomplish, the power of intention relates to the saying, “You can do anything if you put your mind to it.” Many people begin their days with the thought of accomplishing something, only to end up going with the flow of the day. By letting things happen without any influence from what you had planned for the day, you are letting that intention slip away.
How can the Power of Intention help me?
The power of intention can work with you in helping you achieve the goals that may seem out of reach. That goal that you have been working to achieve more than anything, the power of intention can help you reach that goal. You can have all of the good intentions in the world to work hard to achieve your goals, but the power of intention comes with a requirement. Attention to the details of your goal is half the power of intention.
How do I use the Power of Intention to my advantage?
You can harness the power of intention and use it to accomplish your goals, even the ones you think might be out of your reach. The first step to harnessing this power is to slip into the gap of intention. The gap of intention is the first step of awareness. Being aware of the goals that you want to accomplish is the first half of the battle. If you can find out what it is that you want to achieve, the next step is developing a plan that you can put into action to achieve the goal.
The first step of a plan is to manifest the idea. A plan cannot be put in to place without action. The first action that should take place is you putting your goal out into the world. Once you have become aware of what you want to do, talk about it. Tell people that you are close to about the goal that you want to achieve. One other way to bring your plan out into the world is to meditate. Meditating can help center your spirit as well as your mind and help you develop the next step of your plan, which is how to make things happen when working to achieve your goal. Your higher self knows that everything will work out how you want it to and knows that everything will be fine even without knowing the details of what is going to happen.
How does attention come in to play with intention?
Your attention must align with your intention to create actions that are going to push you toward this goal that you are pursuing. Intentions are only as strong as the attention you give to them. When you have intentions that do not align with your attention such as, having the intention to be a healthy person, but having a poor diet shows that you are not giving your intention to the attention it needs to manifest. Your full intention must be placed into the goals that you want to achieve, or the possibility of your intentions will not be as strong as they could be. The downfall that many face here is that they are placing their fate in the hands of what they cannot control. This leads people to adapt and conform to what is going on around them rather than adapt and overcome. The power that we can hold with intention if far beyond wants or needs that we may have; it is a call to action within ourselves.
What is the first thing I should do?
The first thing that you should do is relax. The intention is not as well put into action if there is stress related to the intention. Relaxing and coming up with how you want your outcome to turn out is the best thing that you can do when it comes to harnessing the power of intention. Use your intention and attention to your advantage and harness the power of intention to spring you toward greatness.
